About Rathtrevor Beach

Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is one of Vancouver Island's most popular family destinations, featuring a magnificent 2-kilometer sandy beach along the Strait of Georgia. The park combines excellent camping facilities with one of the island's finest beaches.

The beach is famous for its long stretches of sand that are exposed at low tide, creating vast playground areas perfect for beach combing, sandcastle building, and beach games. The warm, shallow waters make it ideal for families with children.

Located near Parksville, the park offers both oceanfront and forested camping areas, nature trails, and interpretive programs during the summer months.
